Diusframi to Participate in the AEECF's 2026 Annual Fraud Conference

Diusframi attended the 2026 Annual Fraud Conference, organized by the Spanish Association of Anti-Fraud Companies (AEECF) and held on June 11 at the Círculo de Bellas Artes in Madrid.

The event is the premier gathering for Spain's anti-fraud ecosystem and brought together professionals from financial institutions, technology companies, and the legal and regulatory sectors to discuss current and future challenges in this field.

An agenda focused on the challenges of digital fraud

The event kicked off with a presentation by María Gutiérrez, a cybersecurity expert at NTT Data, who discussed the impact of quantum computing on the fight against fraud and the concept of quantum sovereignty as a new strategic focus for organizations.

Next, a roundtable discussion featuring representatives from N26, Ibercaja, and Digi explored how artificial intelligence is addressing the rise in financial fraud through real-world implementation examples. The discussion highlighted both the current capabilities of AI and its operational limitations.

The final part of the day included a presentation on the legal implications of cyberfraud—risks, challenges, and responsibilities—by Pedro Fernández-Villamea, a member of the ICAM Advisory Board, as well as the first findings from the 2026 Business Fraud Report, which point to a threat landscape that is growing and becoming more sophisticated.

Active involvement in the anti-fraud ecosystem

Diusframi’s participation in this conference is part of its commitment to a secure payments ecosystem. As a company specializing in payment methods with capabilities in fraud prevention and dispute management, Diusframi considers it essential to stay engaged in the discussions that shape the industry’s agenda.
