Diusframi has been selected by the European Central Bank (ECB) to be part of the Innovation Platform in the Digital Euro project, in charge of contributing to its development by experimenting under a controlled environment, the technology, infrastructure and operation of the digital currency.
Diusframi, stands out for being part of a small group of nine companies from all over Europe with participation in both categories of the Euro Digital program: Pioneers and Visionaries.
This dual participation positions Diusframi in a privileged position to make a comprehensive contribution to the Digital Euro project. As a 'Pioneer', Diusframi will focus on testing the technical and operational feasibility of key functionalities of the Digital Euro, including the implementation of conditional payments and the integration with the simulated interfaces provided by the ECB. The objective is to ensure that the future digital currency is technologically sound and secure, as well as operational and inclusive.
Simultaneously, his role as a 'Visionary' will allow Diusframi to participate in research and innovative proposals for new digital euro use cases and analyze how these can contribute to solving societal challenges, such as improving digital financial inclusion or payment security and fraud prevention.
Diusframi's selection follows a rigorous public tender process led by the ECB. Its proven expertise in fraud prevention and dispute management through proprietary software solutions, which have proven over the years its experience and innovation in this sector, have been a determining factor for its inclusion in this select group.
